Control Software Development for CTAO - What, how and how well?

DESY is playing a key role in the development of control software for CTAO. In this talk I will describe what kind of software we develop for the ACADA and MST, how we do it and how we make sure we are doing it well. In addition I will describe some workflows and tools that might be useful for others outside the control software bubble.
