   Short description of the project the student should work on  :
   
   The student will work on the incorporation of a SUSY analysis into
   the Rivet framework. With this work the student will get an insight
   into theoretical and experimental aspects of the search for SUSY
   and at the same time learn about typical experimental constraints
   like detector resolution, efficiencies which have to be
   incorporated into Rivet. The goal is to have the analysis included
   in such a way that theorists can implement their model into the Rivet
   framework as well and then find out whether it gets excluded or not
   by our analysis

   Physics / Computing/ Engineering  Content of the project :
   
   Particle physics, physics beyond the Standard Model, search for Supersymmetry

   Root, C++, Phython, Rivet

  Special Qualifications expected from the student ( Computing,...) :
 
  Programming knowledge in object oriented languages, preferably C++
  Event better would be experience in Root, though it is not mandatory
