   Short description of the project the student should work on  :

	The group operates a large prototype TPC and several data sets taken in testbeam
	campaigns are available for analysis.	
	In a first step the student will work on understanding and evaluating
	existing algorithms and tools for the reconstruction. 
	For example the development of a visualization tool for the different
	steps in the reconstruction chain would be a valuable tool.	
	Following that the developed tools are used to study the properties
	of data sets from the large prototype TPC.

	- Understanding the nature of TPC data and their reconstruction
	- Evaluation and improvement of reconstruction tools
        50% physics / 50% Computing

 	- Some experience with C++ programming
