Who am I ?

Research Interest

• All aspects of software and algorithm development in particle physics, ranging from core framework tools over pattern recognition and track fitting to high level reconstruction tools.
  
  
• Application of machine learning and artifical intelligence in particle physics with a focus on generative methods for the fast simulation of detector signals.
  
  

Projects and Roles

• Software coordinator of the ILD detector concept group at the ILC
  
  
• Lead software architect and developer for the iLCSoft eco system used for many future collider studies
  
  
• Co-Convenor of the newly started Key4Hep project that aimes at providing a turnkey software stack for all future collider projects in particle physics
  
  
• Co-coordinator for the cross disciplinary lab "Computational Astro- and Particle Physics" at the newly founded Center for Data and Computing in Natural Sciences (CDCS)
  
  
• Coordinator of the software work package in the AIDAinnova Horizon 2020 EU project
