Implementation and perspectives of the Open Skies Treaty after the announced US withdrawal
The Treaty on Open Skies has opened the full territory of its 34 parties from Vancouver to Vladivostok to cooperative observation flights in support of military transparency. The US administration has announced in May2020 to withdraw from the treaty. It has to be seen whether the treaty will stay alive without the US.
