2nd Round Table Discussion on Situation in Belarus

A Ryanair plane was forced to land in Belarus by the authorities on 23 May, and a journalist,R. Pratasevich, was arrested. Since then several countries launched sanctions againstBelarus.

We want to hear the latest developments and discuss the situation of protests, following ourfirst RoundTable discussion on April 7. We will hear also about repressions againstBelorussian academic community.

Our aim is to give people on the DESY campus a platform to discuss this issue at a round-table and to share their opinions about the situation. We will discuss its possibleconsequence for the world politics and science.
