Measurement of beauty production using dimuon events with ZEUS at HERA Beauty production was measured using events with two muons observed in the final state with the ZEUS detector at HERA using an integrated luminosity of 114 pb-1. A low threshold for muon transverse momentum, pt, in combination with the large rapidity coverage of the ZEUS muon system, gives access to essentially the full phase space for beauty production. The total cross section for beauty production in ep collisons at sqrt(s)=318 GeV was measured. Differential cross sections and bbbar correlations are also presented and compared to other measurements, MC models, and NLO QCD predictions. The latter agree with the data within errors. The shapes of all distributions are well described.
