Measurement of charm production using events with K0s and Lamdas in the final state with ZEUS at HERA Charm production in deep inelastic scattering was measured with the ZEUS detector using an integrated luminosity of 120 pb-1. Decays of D+ mesons and lambda_c+ baryons into final states containing K0s or lambda particles were reconstructed. Since the charm quark acceptance extends down to pT=0 GeV, this measurement gives access to the charm threshold region. Inclusive and differential cross sections for D+ production are compared to next-to-leading-order QCD theoretical predictions. The fraction of charm quarks hadronising into lambda_c+ baryons was determined from the production cross sections.
