Measurement of scaled momentum spectra in the current region of the Breit frame with ZUES at HERA Charged particle production was studied in deep inelastic scattering (DIS) with ZEUS at HEAR using an integrated luminosity of about 0.5 fb-1. The evolution of scaled momentum distributions as a function of Q2 was investigated in the current fragmentation region of the Breit frame. The fragmentation properties of the struck quark in DIS are compared to next-to-leading order calculations with the fragmentation functions obtained from e+e- experiments. Scaling violations are observed. The scaled momentum spectra are compared to modified leading-logarithmic QCD approximation and to Monte Carlo event generators. In addition, the limiting spectrum was investigated and compared to the results from e+e- experiments.
