   Short description of the project the student should work on  :

   Preparation of heavy ion analysis based on HepMCAnalysis base class. 
   This analysis should produce ROOT plots for main heavy ion distributions.
   The program will be used for validation of MC generators like Hijing 
   and Epos (in HI mode) and run in standard Atlas RTT (run time tester)
   aplication on nightly basis.
   
   This project is also meant as a preparation step for the heavy ion 
   analysis for Atlas the students are to start in October for their 
   engeener/bachelor thesis.

   Atlas experiment, heavy ion analysis, ROOT histograming,
