   Short description of the project the student should work on  :

   Online readout hardware setup, control and monitoring for the
   DEPFET pixel detector of BelleII.

   The student will develop solutions for hardware control based on
   EPICS ( experimental physics and industrial control system ) and
   CSS ( Control System Studio ).

   Physics / Computing/ Engineering  Content of the project :

   The project will involve programming in C/C++ and Java.
   Physics analysis is not forseen for this project.

  Special Qualifications expected from the student ( Computing,...) :

  Some prior programming experience is needed.
