   Short description of the project the student should work on  :

   The DESY Grid Centre is home to 10 VOs and supports a number of
   global Virtual Organizations, incl. ATLAS and CMS as a major 
   WLCG Tier-2 centre.
   The summer student's work will be located within the DESY Grid 
   team and will be dedicated to computing aspects on the system 
   level, such as benchmarking and monitoring.
