The Density of AIr
Can air be weighed? A vessel with a valve is once weighed with air in it and once without.
Grades 4–8: In order to acquire a feeling for the mass of air, it is compared with the weight of a tooth pick.
Grades 9–10: The density of air can be calculated with this measurement (the volume of the container is given). The comparison with the value in the literature leads to the pressure and temperature dependency of the density.
