Layer-name
The l a y e r - n a m e can be chosen freely by the user, or be absent.
It can have up to 14 characters. It is not used by SGV, but included for
user convenience. A set of access routines to the geometry description
exists, that uses these names to locate the requested geometry (see
chapter 4.2
). A call to ZTCNAM or ZTPNAM returns the name for a given
detector element. Note that the name will be exactly as entered, same case,
and same positions of the blanks (padded to the right up to position 14). If
this record is blank, the corresponding name will be the same as the last
non-blank one in the preceeding lines, making it easy to group layers into
sub-detectors.
