I started my career in physics at Freiburg University, being member of EMC/NMC experiment at CERN. My PhD was at PETRA experiment CELLO. As a postdoc I worked in H1 at the HERA ring. Now I am member of CMS at the LHC at CERN.

One of my main focus is phenomenology and the interpretation of measurements.

I am author of several Monte Carlo event generators.
